Today we drove from Miramichi, NB, to Petite-Gaspe and Forillion National Park.
We saw Perce Rock along the way. This was an absolutely gorgeous drive! We had a fun experience eating lunch at the Chandler Motel Restaurant where NO ONE spoke English. The hostess started speaking to us in French as we came in, and I said one word, "English?" She raised her hand like "one minute, please" and went searching for a waitress that spoke enough to explain what was on the menu to us as best she could. We got many stares and grins as we asked her questions in our "English Southern Drawl". LOL
