New England/Canada Trip-Sept. 26, 2019

 Cavendish, PEI

Today we drove to Cavendish, home Of Anne of Green Gables.  This is one of my favorite movies, but this isn't where the movie was filmed.  It's the home of the real "Anne" (with an "e", lol.)

We also drove along the coastline to Cape Tryon Lighthouse on the Heritage Lighthouse trail.

Yes, this is the actual road to get to this lighthouse.  We've taken Little House on many off road adventures like this one.  She's never let us down.  Of course, Paul is such a good driver, though.

This is Mt. Carmel Church and cemetery, the oldest church on PEI.

We also drove to West Point Lighthouse.

Yes, we really are in the middle of nowhere, again.

There was a lot of damage done in this area and also on PEI due to the same hurricane, Hurricane Dorian,  that hit Ocracoke before we left home.  This hurricane caused the state park where we had our reservations here in PEI to have to shut down.  We're in a beautiful spot, though.  The damage to this whole area is very extensive with many fallen trees and damage to house.

Back "home" again at our camping spot.

Such a beautiful ending to such a lovely day!
