New England/Canada trip, Sept. 18, 2019

From Amish Country Pennsylvania to Lincoln, New Hampshire.

Today's drive takes us to Franconia Notch State Park in Lincoln, New Hampshire.  Yes, that's quite a drive but a beautiful one.

Some fall colors beginning to peek through.

Our camping spot for the next couple of days:  Cannon River RV Park inside Franconia Notch State Park.

This is a beautiful place.  There are only four or five camping spots here, so it is very quiet.  Right over that hill is a beautiful lake.  We can't see it from the RV, but we can if we hike up the hill.  A campfire is on the schedule for tonight even though we're tired from the long drive.  The temps are much cooler here, so the fire will be very soothing.  Tomorrow is another big day--we're hiking The Flume!
