From Cumberland Mountain State Park, TN, to Julian Price National Park, NC
The rest of the drive through Tennessee was beautiful and looked a lot like North Carolina.
Our camping spot for the next two nights. It's located right on Price Lake. A beautiful spot indeed, but there aren't many place to access the lake from the campground.
There are a lot of Christmas tree farms in western NC.
The trees have lost a lot of their colorful leaves, but the mountains are beautiful and peaceful no matter what time of the year we come.

Price Lake
Once we checked in we drove to Blowing Rock to have a look around and get some lunch and dinner combined since it was getting late in the day.
The park at Blowing Rock.
We ordered take-out from the Town Tavern on Main Street, Blowing Rock
and took it back to the RV to eat.
This was our view while we waiting outside the restaurant for our food to be prepared.
After lunch we drove back to Julian Price and set up camp. There are no hookups at any of the sites here and there are very few large enough to accommodate an RV. Most of the sites close to the lake are for tent camping only.
When we awoke on Tuesday morning, it was a very brisk 47 degrees! We couldn't turn on the generator for heat until 8:00 a.m., so we just slept in until then. It was a very needed rest after being on the road for so many days straight. After breakfast it was time for a hike around the lake.
The afternoon consisted of relaxing outside, Paul cooking on the grill, and watching wildlife.
Tomorrow we'll still be in the mountains of North Carolina except at a different park. Night all.
