Goldendale, WA through Oregon to Glenns Ferry, ID (Post # 38)

July 28
It was a little cooler this morning as we prepared to leave Peace Beach.  One more barge came to tell us goodbye. Today is a three state day!  Washington, Oregon, and Idaho!

One last look at the beach.

And one last look at the peach orchard with the windmills standing guard over it.

The John Day Dam on the Columbia River.

The Columbia River separates Washington and Oregon.  So in these two pictures we are in Oregon and that is Washington on the other side.

Oregon looks much the same as Washington.

These pictures remind me of the saying, "A dry and thirsty land".

                                     Yes, He does!

We really like state parks.  The Snake River is over behind us but not close enough for us to hear it or see it unless we walk down the trail to it.  I love all these trees, some of them are very old.  Today has been a beautiful day! Tomorrow we're headed for Salt Lake City, Utah.
