. Western Trip 2020, Sept. 20

September 20, 2020       Visiting Buffalo Bill Center of the West in Cody, Wyoming.

It was a beautiful morning with the sun coming up over the mountains and glistening on the mountain tops across the Buffalo Bill Reservoir into which the Shoshone River flows.  We drove into Cody to the Buffalo Bill Center of the West, which houses five museums depicting the old west.

We had wanted to attend the rodeo while we were here, but they'd already closed for the season.

These belonged to Cody's wife.
                                                                 Buffalo Bill's personal tent.

I'm not the only one who likes pictures of red barns.  This one is a beautiful painting, though.

This was a map with red pins depicted all the places known that Buffalo Bill Cody visited.  Look closely and you'll see Windsor, Kinston, and Tarboro.  You can Williamston and Robersonville on this map, too.  I think Bear Grass should have been on there also. lol

This next section is from the Cody Firearms Museum section.  Paul selected these pictures personally for all our friends and family members especially interested in firearms of all types.

Our favorite actor of all times, John Wayne.

We enjoyed our day in the "Wild West".  This was one of our favorite museums to visit.

An afternoon walk as the sun was setting.

Another beautiful day!
