Western Trip 2020, Sept. 25

 September 25, 2020

A day in Teton National Park.

We got a later start today since we didn't have very far to drive to do what we wanted to do, which was Teton National Park.  First, though, we had to drive back to Jackson for more fuel and a few groceries.  It was just as busy today as the other day.  Thankfully, we didn't have to stay too long there.  Then on to the park.

This is what we try to avoid if at all possible.  We drove right on past.

We like to take the road less traveled, and that's just what we did to find
our lunch spot for today, right on Jenny Lake.

Hiking part of the trail around Jenny Lake.

The Episcopal Chapel of the Transfiguration.  We didn't get to go inside because it was closed because of Covid we think.

Menors Heritage Center.

Back to our campground one last time before we pull out tomorrow morning.

You can see the storm rolling in.  Hopefully, we'll finish our supper out by the campfire before it hits.

We managed to get most of the benefit from the fire before we had to head inside.  Tomorrow we leave here heading for Jordanelle State Park near Heber City, Utah. We've enjoyed our stay here and visiting Upper Yellowstone and Teton National Parks.
